About Me

Hold on tightly, let go lightly. - Anne Bogart

Olivia is a New York-based Director, Stage Manager, and Theater Artist committed to sharing stories that challenge social constructs and societal expectations, especially those regarding women. Olivia has worked with The Drama League of New York, Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions, Bay View Music Festival, The Orchard Project, and Barrington Stage Co.

Recently, Olivia was the assistant director in the NYC premiere of Jake Lipman's new play Relentlessly Pleasant.  Additionally, Olivia is looking forward to working with Jake again on an upcoming production of Recent Tragic Events. Other upcoming credits include associate producing Bunny, Godmother of Title IX at Dixon Place and Stage Managing Bay View Music Festival's production of West Side Story. She was a Core Company apprentice at the Orchard Project, getting to collaborate in accelerating new works with other artists is both an inspiration and a privilege.  Previous directing credits include The Wise Women by Nelson Clark and as assistant director at Barrington Stage Company on Company by  Stephen Sondheim and Speech and Debate by Stephen Karam. She also co-directed their Musical Theater Conservatory in several cabarets in the summer of 2017. Olivia was the Artistic Education Intern at The Drama League of New York, assisting with the student directors program, New Visions New Voices. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Theater Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. 
 
The theater provides humans the chance to see one another, the more than can be seen the better it can be understood.
